Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region held an elegant gala to celebrate the community’s stars and strength. As part of the event, held at the Hacienda Sarria, Chuck Winters, a former Canadian Football League player, shared his journey of domestic abuse – and moving beyond violence.
